During the architectural design, I indicate schematically the layout of the utilities, not forgetting the structural part, which makes it easier to avoid mistakes in the future and to solve them if they occur. I work in a 3D environment, which allows me to feel the volumes and the spaces at the sketch stage. The 3D models created can be used in BIM. I create detailed drawings, structural assemblies. The drawings I create contain a maximum amount of information, which is very useful for the further execution of the project. I am competent in the selection of materials and manufacturers’ recommendations, taking into account the client’s budget. I have a good knowledge of building structures and materials. I ensure the rational use of materials when designing buildings. I organise construction sites in a thoughtful way, taking into account ecological aspects, including trees, soil and noise protection. In each project, I develop and describe safety requirements in detail, including fire safety, timing, technology and sequence of works. I operate efficiently with materials, which allows me to reduce waste and save the client’s budget. I choose construction machinery rationally. I accurately and informatively prepare tasks to be carried out for specialists and engineers, taking into account schedules and budgets for design work. I react quickly and make changes based on comments from the authorities. I work with Latvian building codes and regulations, and familiarise myself with documentation. I feel confident both on site and in construction meetings. I am competent to take on the role of supervisor.
